Co-Founder and Professional Hairstylist
Sonya Tsekanovsky started her hair styling journey around the age of 13, when she started creating her own looks for competitions. She quickly gained an eye for style and a love of the art and the rest was history.
Sonya has been a professional hair artist since 2015, and started her personal brand, hair by Sonya, in 2019. She stands out in the industry because she follows dancesport trends while seeking inspiration from the outside world to create current yet unique styles for her clients.
She has worked all of the major national and international Dancesport competitions, providing stunning looks for kids to professionals to pro-am dancers alike!
Rickie Taylor Dubovyk
Co-Founder and Head Makeup Artist
Rickie Taylor Dubovyk has been practicing Dancesport makeup artistry since 2014. Always having a passion for makeup from a young age, she was inspired to learn and become a professional makeup artist.
Rickie’s love of makeup artistry only grew once she began offering her makeup services for clients at Dancesport competitions in 2017.
RickieT.Beauty was founded in 2018 and continues to grow with educational and creative tutorials that are featured on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
